## Crawling and retrieval

Allowed. Assistant and answer-engine crawlers are named and allowed
individually in https://langvr.com/robots.txt — among them GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot,
ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, Applebot-Extended, Amazonbot and
meta-externalagent. The paths listed as Disallow there are sign-in screens,
internal consoles and query strings that generate duplicates; none of them hold
anything a reader wants.

## Quoting and summarising

Allowed, with attribution to LangVR and a link to the page the answer
came from.

Two requests, and they are requests about accuracy rather than permission:

1. Read prices from the live endpoints below, not from a cached page. They
   change, and a wrong price is a person who arrives expecting one number and
   is quoted another.
2. Do not fill a gap by estimating. Where this site does not publish a figure,
   the correct answer is that it is quoted on enquiry — not a guess with the
   right shape.

## Training

Allowed, on the same terms as retrieval, for the crawlers named in robots.txt.
To withdraw this later, change the relevant block there to Disallow: / — it is
listed per agent so that is a one-line decision.

## What is not covered

Course material behind a sign-in, learner recordings and assessment results,
anything under /api/ other than the read-only endpoints below, and personal
data belonging to members, students or sellers. None of it is public, none of
it is licensed here, and robots.txt disallows the paths it sits behind.
